Even though the Cafe won't be open for business until August 26th, it's been bustling with collaboration between students, teachers and administrators for months. I can't wait to see the amazing typography and artwork that Mr. Bernard's High School Art 1 class creates for the walls. I can't wait to continue this incredibly rewarding leap of faith.
There are 11 1/2 days of school left, but my countdown is different. On June 7th, I will shut my classroom door for the last time this school year.

Mrs. McCloud has fervently shared the vision, inception, creation and collaboration of this project with me over the last year. Her enthusiasm is infectious, borne out by her students lively responses.
